Nearly Three Decades of Saving Dogs in Los Angeles
We used to find dogs their homes. Now we help them stay there.
Perfect Pet Rescue began in 1996 with a heartfelt mission: rescuing abandoned and at-risk dogs across the Los Angeles area and placing them in loving forever homes. Over the years, we helped hundreds of dogs find the families they deserved — and built a deeply connected community of animal advocates along the way.
As the needs of pet owners evolved, so did we. Today, Perfect Pet Rescue is dedicated to funding life-saving veterinary surgeries — orthopedic repairs, tumor removals, emergency trauma treatment, and critical internal procedures — for dogs whose families face impossible financial choices.
Medical costs for pets have risen sharply, leaving many Los Angeles families in crisis. We believe no family should ever have to say goodbye too soon simply because they can't afford the bill.

"We were devastated when our vet told us what the surgery would cost. We had no idea where to turn. Perfect Pet Rescue stepped in and gave our dog — and our whole family — a second chance. He's running around the yard again like nothing ever happened."
"I never thought a nonprofit would help with something so specific as a surgical procedure. The team at Perfect Pet Rescue worked directly with our vet and handled everything. Watching our girl recover has been the most joyful thing I have experienced in years."
"Without this organization, we would have had to make an unbearable choice. The compassion and professionalism of the Perfect Pet Rescue team gave our dog the surgery he needed — and gave us our best friend back."
